The building of the pear shaped double bass

Here I'm roughing in the double bass top. This bass is a custom order for Rich Kowalewski Jazz double bassist, teacher, and composer in the Detroit area.

  2. Dan,
Congratulations on creating such BEAUTIFUL string instruments, especially the Gargoyle on the scroll of the double bass & the custom carved areas and inlays on the instruments and bows.
Your work is amazing, you are very gifted, both your carving instruments & your playing music.

Keep up the great work. I can hardly wait to see your new series of string instruments you are currently working on with carved scrolls & bodies.

Thank you for following your dreams & for sharing your gifts.

    Keep up your talents,
